  5. Sara oi!

My name is Ocean Vuong and I’m co-editing an anthology of poetry, fiction, and creative non-fiction written by the children/grandchildren of Vietnam War veterans called Inheriting War. So far, writers like Nick Flynn, Ada Limon, Terrance Hayes, Bruce Weigl (translations), John Murillo and Mong Lan have agreed to contribute. Yusef Komunyakaa will write the foreword.

We want the anthology to be as international as possible and I was wondering if you could suggest a few writers based in Vietnam who are children/grandchildren of those contemporaneous to the war? If you know of any writers elsewhere internationally that would be of great help also.

Feel free to forward my email to others and to contact me if you have questions.

Ii would be great if you could submit also. If you do you decide to submit, please try to send your work before November 15th as we will have to send a contents packet to the publisher at that time.

    Thanks a lot.

    -Ocean
